About

Someone trained to listen — without an agenda.

A little about who you'll be speaking with, and the thinking behind how sessions are run.

I hold a postgraduate degree in Psychology, along with a Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling. But qualifications only tell part of the story — what matters more, I think, is how a session actually feels once you're in it.

I started Hold Tight Psycare because I noticed how often people delay reaching out — not because they don't need support, but because the idea of "starting therapy" can feel like a big, formal step. I wanted to remove that weight. There's no clinical distance here, no rush to diagnose or fix. Just a steady, attentive space to think out loud, supported by someone who has the training to actually help you make sense of it.

I also bring a personal understanding of what it means to navigate ongoing health challenges, which has shaped how I show up for people — with patience, without judgement, and with a genuine respect for how hard it can be to ask for support in the first place.

A Note on Confidentiality

What's shared here, stays here.

Confidentiality is not a policy line — it's the foundation everything else is built on.

Every conversation is treated as private. Nothing discussed in a session is shared with anyone — family members, employers, or otherwise — without your explicit, informed consent.

The only exception, as with any ethical counselling practice, is where there is an immediate risk of serious harm — in which case the priority is always your safety, handled with care and transparency.

You're welcome to ask any questions about how sessions work, what's recorded (nothing, beyond brief working notes for continuity), or anything else, before deciding to begin.

No pressure to decide right now.

If you have questions before starting, send a message — there's no obligation that follows.
