What information is collected

• Contact details you choose to share via WhatsApp, email, or the grievance form — such as your name, number, or email address — only if you provide them.
• Session content shared during a counselling conversation, kept as brief working notes for continuity between sessions.
• Intake & consent form details, collected before a first session begins, used only to inform how sessions are conducted.
• For Secret Santa, no name, address, or identifying information is ever requested. Please avoid sharing identifying details voluntarily if you wish to remain fully anonymous.

How this information is used

• Solely to communicate with you, schedule sessions, and provide the counselling or listening service you've asked for.
• Payment is handled directly via a Razorpay payment link — this website does not collect or store any card, UPI, or banking details itself.
• Your details are never sold, rented, shared with third parties, or used for marketing or advertising of any kind.

Confidentiality of sessions

What is discussed in a session is treated as strictly confidential, in line with professional counselling ethics. It is not shared with family members, employers, or anyone else without your explicit, informed consent.

The only exception is where there is an immediate risk of serious harm to yourself or someone else — in which case safety takes priority, and this would be handled transparently with you wherever possible.

No session is recorded, video or audio, by the practitioner, and clients are asked not to record sessions either.

Cookies & website analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts. Standard hosting logs (such as those kept by Netlify) may record basic technical information like IP address and browser type, used only for security and performance, never for profiling.

Data retention

Working notes and contact details are retained only as long as needed to provide ongoing support and to meet reasonable professional record-keeping practice, and are kept securely. You may ask for your contact details to be deleted from any messaging record at any time.

Your choices

• You can ask, at any point, what information is held about you.
• You can ask for your contact details to be removed once there is no ongoing session relationship.
• You can choose to use Secret Santa specifically if you would prefer not to share any identifying information at all.
