From message to session
A few things people usually ask
Is Hold Tight Psycare a substitute for psychiatric treatment or medication?
No. This service offers psychology counselling and Secret Santa, an anonymous listening space. It does not provide psychiatric diagnosis, treatment, or medication, and isn't a substitute for hospital-based or emergency care.
Is everything discussed really confidential?
Yes. Session content is treated as strictly confidential, in line with professional counselling ethics. The only exception is an immediate risk of serious harm, which would always be handled transparently with you.
How do I pay, and is it secure?
Once basic questions are answered on WhatsApp, a secure Razorpay payment link is shared directly with you. This website never collects or stores card, UPI, or banking details itself.
What is the intake and consent form for?
It's a short form sent after payment to understand a little more about what you're looking for, and to confirm your informed consent before the first session. Once it's submitted, a Google Meet link follows.
How are sessions actually conducted?
Online, over Google Meet, at a time that works for you. There's flexibility around scheduling rather than fixed slots.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes — message on WhatsApp with reasonable notice. Full details are on the Refund & Cancellation Policy page.
What if I message and then change my mind?
That's completely okay. There's no obligation attached to sending a first message or asking questions before deciding.
What if something about my experience didn't feel right?
You can share a concern privately and confidentially through the Grievance page. Every concern is taken seriously.
